But we want to give you an alternative. NYC is more than meets the eye, and the best of this city is what exists in the not so obvious places. Your guide will offer access to a delicious variety of cuisine options as well as local knowledge and access that extends well beyond the guidebooks. And more than anything, this tour will be driven by our customary passion and enthusiasm.
Anyone touring NYC can buy a slice of pizza or a bagel on their own. That’s not what this tour is about. Here’s how it works. You sign up in advance, then on tour day all you have to do is show up and enjoy an all inclusive experience. You will dine on a preset food and drink menu, and in the process introduce your taste buds to dishes that tell the unique story of each proprietor. And what stories they have to tell!

TripAdvisor, the world’s most respected travel website, every May issues their prestigious “Certificate of Excellence” Award. A company has to be running for at least a year to earn this recognition. In May of 2018 we had yet to be eligible. This year however, our first year of eligibility, we earned this coveted prize. We are thankful for our past participants and the wonderful feedback they have provided about their experiences.
This experience is for those who aren’t interested in walking around in a group of 25, following a guide who holds a flag or colored umbrella in the air. Our goal is for you to look back on your New York City visit fondly and, more than anything, recall that cool neighborhood you would have otherwise never visited, that restaurant you would have never found on your own, and those lifelong friends you made.
